beach, Beach, BEACH!

So, we ride a boat to get to the beach? What fun!
This is so fun! I love Aunt Dona's little pink seat especially for me!

Hey, this pool thing is pretty cool too! Do all pools have fountains?

As you can tell we all had great fun at Bald Head Island last week. Leah loved the waves. She was splashed really early the first day and I was thinking "Oh, no...she'll hate the water now!" But nope....Leah just giggled and laughed when she had a face full of water. She didn't want to get out of the water at all! We went to the pool one afternoon which she enjoyed as well. The weather was beautiful. Rain some mornings and at night but every afternoon was bright and sunny. We had really good food to eat too. Eb and Flo's Steam Bar and The Shoal's club were awesome. Leah celebrated her 16month birthday while we were there too. She can now climb stairs, whistle, and color beautifully (in an abstract form!!). We also saw lots of wildlife too. An alligator that was at least 6-7 feet long, yellow belly slider turtles (fresh water) and we saw a saltwater turtle nest which was really close to Dona's beach walkway. Our camera died on us about day 3 which stunk but we did buy a little diaposable camera which we'll develop soon and I'll post some pics from that film when it's back. Overall we had a great time and can't wait to go back.
