Did you know Leah is now 22 months old? Yup, she sure is! To celebrate we had uncle Jim's birthday and Christmas with Great Grandma Martin and Great Great Aunt Ora (Pics to follow). I made the blue jumper for Leah to wear some this winter. This is the first time she wore it. It's really simple but I do like it and it's very cute on Leah!
Some of Leah's new milestones:
Vocabulary Vocabulary Vocabulary! She knows so many words and loves to talk talk talk.
We can count to 5! But she leaves out 1. I don't know why!
Leah loves her doggy Effie (Ethel). She has gotten quite attached to Effie in the last few weeks. We've learned the hard way to make sure Effie is in the bed when Leah is going to sleep!
Goes up and down steps.
She's a big fan of Elmo. She's recently discovered the wonders of Elmo's world and loves to watch it with Daddy when he's home from work.
Leah has gotten quite attached to her grandparents and asks for them everyday!
Leah is very helpful. She helps me dry the dishes in the morning and closes the dishwasher for me. Leah will put clothes in the basket when they are taken off of her and can put her shoes in the closet. She doesn't like it when I leave mine out either. She stands at them and says 'Mama Shoes!' then picks them up and puts them near or in the closet.
We're very glad Leah seems to be over her pneumonia. She's quite skinny from not eating much for a week or so but not to worry. Her appetite is back!
We can't wait for next week so we can have another blessed Christmas with Leah. She's been a very good girl and we're excited to see what Santa brings for her!!!
