Guess what happens in exactly two weeks.
Miss Leah is going to Kindergarten! And she's super excited!
(Mommy might need some help.)
Today Leesville Rd Elementary had a "Kindergarten Play Date". It was a chance to go to the school, play on the play ground, meet the teachers and principals, and say hello to new friends.
The playground was super fun.
And Leah saw friends from church, preschool and dance!
It's amazing how those simple little places make connections with so many different people. Leah's friend Lila went to St Andrew and also goes to church with Leah. Lila's mom knew Paul growing up from youth group and now the girls are pretty good buddies!
Leah really really liked walking the bridge and kept going back to play on it.
The principal brought out popsicles for all the kids so she could say hello to everyone personally. She seems really nice and she knew the older students by name!
Now that Leah has been to her play date she's ready for registration next Wednesday.
And her very first day of Kindergarten in two weeks.
