On Saturday we celebrated Christmas. Julie and Andrew were here and we decided that we'd go ahead and celebrate because they were here. Well, if you've lived in the Commonwealth for any period of time you know what comes on the Saturday after Thanksgiving...the UVA and VT football game. We we tailgated for our meal, opened presents out in the yard under the Christmas tree (lovingly decorated by Julie) watched the game and had homemade pizza. We were together all day long and had a blast! No one had to rush off to other Christmas gatherings or get to bed early for a busy day tomorrow. It was just a fun fun afternoon all together. It will be one of my favorite Christmas memories for a long time!
